MORNING FAITH EXPLORATION MINISTRY - Elder William Blatch, Ministry Leader
"And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers."  1 Thessalonians 2:13
The study of the Holy Bible is the central focus of our Sunday School Ministry.
Each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., classes for preschoolers, children, youth, and adults meet to study the scriptures, to experience Christian fellowship, and to explore paths of Christian service. In this context, we do more than learn about the Holy Bible. Our study is grounded in the strong belief that God's eternal truths as recorded in scripture can dynamically interact with the persistent needs and dreams that are a part of each person's life. We believe that the Holy Bible can inform our thoughts, challenge our attitudes, and inspire us to action!
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Mark 10:14
The Children’s Ministry is for preschoolers through grade five and seeks to make the practical application of God's Word, as well as, provide recreational activities. The mission of the Progressive Community Baptist Church Children's ministry is to create a place in which children grow closer to God through experiencing His word and developing relationships with peers and members of the Progressive family.
YOUTH MINISTRY - Sister Danielle Jackson Lawrence, Ministry Leader
“Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.”  2 Timothy 2:22
The Youth Ministry is for persons in grades six through twelve that seeks to develop a structural application of God’s Word.  Through this ministry our youth will grow to understand their own personalities, temperaments, vulnerabilities, weaknesses and strengths as they increase their relationship with God.  The youth will be guided to a positive and wholesome direction through discussions, community outreach and recreational activities.
G.L.O.W. WOMEN'S MINISTRY -  Evangelist Caroline Brown, Ministry Leader
"In the same way, the women are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything." 1 Timothy 3:11
This Bible Study is designed specifically to encourage women in their faith and knowledge of the word of God and to lead them to greater freedom in Christ.  It is our desire to grow in the knowledge and love of God together, to become Women of the Word and to obtain our God given gift, which is God's calling on your life.
"How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity."  Psalm 133:1
This Bible Study is designed specifically for men that will help you grow in your relationship to God and get practical, biblical perspectives on many current and relevant male issues.
